Bougainvillea
Bougainvillea have the impression that they are plants in hot climates, but their flowers also make me feel the cool breeze.
I searched the internet for photos of this favorite flower and found many views of the island of Santorini, Greece. Bright sky, blue sea, white walls and bougainvillea. It’s a really nice view. I wanted to make a song about the brightness and relaxing mood of this island.

With this song I used the Habanera rhythm for the first time. Habanera goes very well with guitars.
I thought both Bougainvillea and Habanera were born in the Mediterranean. But looked it up, I knew both of them originated from Central America. Anyway, it may be that the flowers and the rhythm inspired me as a set because they were born in the same place.
