Rainy Days
Rainy day is boring.
It’s especially true when I’m on travel. I have neither housework nor a guitar.
Rainy day is boring. I can’t stand the boredom and take a walk outside with an umbrella. Then the view is different from what I had seen from inside the room. The rain-soaked leaves and flowers show me different kind of beauty than usual. It may not be refreshing, but beautiful. And it’s the kind of beauty that I can’t notice unless I look closely. After all, it’s good to be out.

The flowers bloomed in May have over, and just when the refreshing summer turns into a hot summer, the rainy season in Japan begins. Two or three weeks of rainy days at this time of year when the sun is highest. This is why it is called the fifth season in Japan.
