I started writing this song last year, late in the summer, when the night breeze was getting a little cooler. At first, I started to write a song about the coolness of summer nights. But it got cooler and cooler every day, and in the end, the theme of the song became the warmth of the light.
“Coolness of the summer night” became the song Serene Summer Night the following year.
