Why did I launch this website?
Jan. 17, 2026
Originally, I didn’t launch this website because I wanted to publish my songs. It was meant to be my personal showcase.
Playing songs I’ve composed myself is fun, but visually, they’re just a bunch of folders lined up.

I used to enjoy making paper models of steam locomotives. After finishing each one, I lined them all up on the shelf and enjoyed admiring them. In the same way, I wanted to neatly line up my songs and enjoy looking at them.
Unlike paper models, music doesn’t get dusty, and I don’t have to worry about breaking them while cleaning. Besides, with the web, I wouldn’t have to worry about display space either. I decided I absolutely had to try it.
The goal was “neatly line up and enjoy looking,” so appearance was very important. I selected a web design theme that suits my taste and lined up each song with beautiful photos.

Compare it to the previous folder window. Big difference, right? This is great! Somehow, I’m starting to like my own songs even more. 🙂
However, the screen of smartphone was narrow, so only a few icons were displayed. It’s not “neatly lined up…” Besides, as the number of songs increased, scrolling became a hassle.

Also, newer songs aren’t necessarily better songs, so a blog format that pushes older ones to the back isn’t good. I want to decide the order based on the song’s characteristics and visual appeal. Therefore, I have abandoned the blog format and switched to my original format featuring small icons.

Now my songs can be lined up in the same way on both PCs and smartphones. 🙂
It has nothing to do with composing, but “neatly line up and enjoy looking” is one of my pleasures.
