Dance and Romance

When I was a junior high school student, the dance in which boys and girls dance in a circle was both an expectation and a hesitation.

The order changed one by one, and as ‘the’ girl’s turn approached, I was wondering what to do and was throbbing. But the music ended before her turn. I was disappointed, but on the other hand, I felt relieved.

It would be much easier if I knew what she thought of me. But I don’t know a smart way to know her feelings, and if denied, it’s over. After that, my family moved to another town, and I never met her again.

When I grew up, I was able to talk to the ladies in a nice way, but by that time I no longer had the opportunity to dance with men and women together. If I were back in my teens and could dance, I would behave quite well. Maybe it was a happy ending.

I wrote this song over a year ago and it’s my fourth work. At that time, I was more absorbed in composition than playing, so I made it without thinking about whether I could play it. Sure enough, I couldn’t play little finger slurs easily, and it took four months since the last release.

I’m still bad at playing, but I want to make a new song, so decided to upload this to YouTube. Compared to the beginning, even this was a little better performance.
